• Completed on 2021

• Sculpted with mosterclay medium clay

• Handpainted using acrylics, liquitex gloss varnish, and thinned acrylics for the airbrush (iwata neo)

• Eye ball clear sphere is a christmas ornament (switched to bath bomb molds,easier)

• Most successful prop i have made

I didn’t had high expectations when i went to watch the suicide squad movie, but I had no idea the villain would be a giant starfish, so when i left the theater I was already planning my next sculpture, the starro spore mask. I don’t have a lot of space for big stuff nowadays living in my new apt, so I was looking for something easy to cosplay, and so the starro mask was born. It was a personal build, so I wasn’t expecting a big response from the followers, but to my surprise it was a massive success, pages like Highsnobiety sharing my work, and even a couple of youtube pages, it was awesome.
